• Take 2 capsules of (Loperamide) Imodium initially, and 1 capsule after every subsequent loose stool.
• Maximum of 8 capsules per day.
• One dose refers to 4mg or 2 capsules at initial dose.
Ingredients
• Each capsule contains 2mg Loperamide (as hydrochloride).
Warnings
• Loperamide should only be given to adults and children 12 years old and above.
• Oral rehydration is the mainstay treatment of diarrhea.
• It should be used with caution in patients with hepatic dysfunction and in patients with dysentery or if constipation must be avoided.
