Canesten Clotrimazole Cream
Description:
• Canesten is an antifungal preparation for external use.
• It contains Clotrimazole 10mg.
• It is used for the treatment of dermatomycoses caused by fungi ; yeasts and molds: Athlete's foot (alipunga) Hand fungus Ringworm (buni) Jock itch (hadhad) Pityriasis versicolor (an-an) Other skin fungal infections (cutanenous candidiasis ; erythrasma)
Instructions:
• Apply thinly 2-3 times a day and gently rub in.
• A strip of cream (1/2 cm long) is enough to treat an area about the size of the hand.
• To ensure complete healing depending on the indication ; the treatment should be continued according to the indications specified below even if symptoms disappear:
• Dermatomycoses: 3-4 weeks
• Erythrasma: 2-4 weeks
• Pityriasis versicolor: 1-3 weeks
• Candida vulvitis and Candida balantis: 1-2 weeks
