Description:
• As a general topical and quick-drying antiseptic in the treatment and prevention of infection. It is ideal for mouth sores (aphthous ulcers), herpes simplex, herpes zoster (shingles), herpes labialis (cold sores), grazes, abrasions, cuts and wounds, or any break in the skin which requires protection from infection. It is effective in the treatment of dermal infections caused by bacteria, viruses and fungi.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE:
• Use as prescribed by your doctor or apply undiluted to the affected area and allow to dry.
• Use twice daily.
Ingredients:
• 100mg Povidone Iodine (Betadine) equivalent to 10mg available iodine
Product Warning:
• If you are allergic to iodine or povidone, if you have an overactive thyroid gland (hyperthyroidism) or any thyroid disease, if you are on lithium therapy, before and after a specific medical treatment involving the use of radioactive iodine.
