Description:
• For symptomatic management of acute and chronic diarrhea.
Instructions:
• Adult: Initially 2 tablet with subsequent dose of 1 tablet after each fluid evacuation.
• Children 12 yr: Initially 1 tablet with subsequent dose of 1 tablet after each fluid evacuation.
Chronic diarrhea:
• Adult: Initially 2 tab/day.
• Children: 12 yr 1 tab/day.
Adjust dose until 1 or 2 solid evacuation/day occur.
• Maintenance dose: Usually 1-6 tab/day.
• Maximum dose: 6 tab/day. May be taken with or without food.
• Contraindicated in children 12 years old.
