Diatabs Loperamide Capsule

Uses:
• May be used for the control of acute non-specific diarrhea and/or chronic diarrhea associated with inflammatory bowel disease
How it works:
• Slows down intestinal movement and reduces fluid and salt loss in the intestines.
• As a result, the consistency of the stool is improved or the stool is hardened.
Dosage:
• Take 2 capsules initially, followed by 1 capsule after each bowel movement or as recommended by your doctor.
• Maximum dose is 16mg or 8 capsules a day.
• Discontinue if there is no improvement after 2 days.
Not recommended for:
• pregnant and/or breastfeeding mothers,
• and children 12 years old and below
