Known to some as the “Land of the Dreamweavers", South Cotobato was once inhabited by Malay pioneers. and then subdued by the Spaniards. South Cotobato has indeed a very rich heritage and very fertile lands. This is where we find a very passionate cacao estate in South Cotobato bordering Sultan Kudarat. Leon estate top quality cacao was part of a export deal to Europe that was cancelled due Covid19 affecting sea shipping.
We do our part to help by lovingly roast the beans and then stone grind, conch and temper the chocolate to attain the tasting notes of mangoes, cashew, fermented sough-dough. Made only with 2 ingredients (premium cacao beans and sugar), these are the natural flavors of the bean not added flavors.
