Mangosteen is an exotic tropical fruit native of Southeast Asia but can be cultivated in other regions with tropical climate. Underneath its rind is a white flesh that is segmented with seeds that taste sweet and tangy. It has high antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties, fiber and vitamin C for the immune system. Mangosteen is in season from June to November.
