Hine Antique XO Grande Champagne Premier Cru is a world-class, ultra-premium French cognac originally created in 1920 by Georges Hine. While it was historically a "Fine Champagne" blend, Hine famously upgraded this flagship expression to a Premier Cru Grande Champagne, meaning 100% of its grapes are harvested exclusively from the finest, highest-quality growing region in Cognac.
ABV: 40% (80 proof).
Origin: Cognac, Charente, France.
Composition: A masterful blend of over 40 different eaux-de-vie.
Aging: Aged for a minimum of 10 years in lightly toasted French oak casks, though the average age of the components inside the blend is around 20 years.
Tasting Notes
Aroma: Deeply elegant and dynamic, opening with notes of vanilla, hazelnut, cedar wood, fine tobacco spice, and baked apple.
Palate: Rich, round, and exceptionally smooth. Complex flavors of candied fruits, fig, creme br�l�e, and liquorice seamlessly blend with a sophisticated "rancio" barrel note.
Finish: Extremely persistent, warm, and graceful, fading away with refined spices and lingering oak sweetness.
