Glen Galang Galunggong Balsa
Recipe: Sarciadong Galunggong
Ingredients:
● 10 pieces medium sized galunggong, cleaned
● 5 cloves garlic, minced
● 1 medium onion, diced
● 4 medium tomatoes, diced
● 1 cup water
● 2 tsp fish sauce
● 1/4 tsp ground pepper
● 3 eggs, beaten
● Salt to taste
● Cooking Oil
Instructions:
1. Slit galunggong on both sides (see picture) and rub with salt
2. Heat cooking oil in a frying pan, and fry galunggong until brown on both sides.
3. Remove fish from pan and set aside
4. In a separate pan, heat a small amount of oil and sauté garlic, onion, and tomatoes together until soft
5. Add water, fish sauce and ground pepper and boil mixture
6. Add beaten eggs and stir the mixture
7. Add galunggong and simmer for 3 minutes
8. Serve with rice
