• Fresh Shrimp Suahe Big (GG) approx. 600g

• Halabós is one of the quickest and easiest way of cooking shrimps in the Philippines. Traditionally, it only requires boiling whole unshelled shrimps in water and a little salt for 1-3 minutes until they turn reddish-pink. But for a modern version, carbonated lemon drinks like Sprite or 7-Up can be used instead of water.
Ingredients:
• 1 kg shrimp/suahe
• 1/2 cup Sprite or 7-Up
• Garlic, salt and pepper
Instructions:
1. Heat a pan on high heat then and add oil.
2. Sauté garlic then add the shrimps.
3. Pour the carbonated lemon drink and mix continuously until the shrimp changes color.
4. Add salt and pepper or other spices to taste.
5. Serve with vinegar/garlic or calamansi/fish sauce dip.
