Tuna Belly Slab Plain
• Recipe: Soy-Calamansi Tuna Belly
Ingredients:
• 500 grams tuna belly
• 4 tablespoons soy sauce
• 2 tablespoons calamansi juice
• salt, to taste
• pepper, to taste
• 2 pieces red tomatoes, chopped
• green onions, sliced
• lemon slices, for garnish (optional)
Directions:
1. Marinate tuna belly in soy sauce and calamansi juice for 10 minutes. Season with salt and pepper on both sides.
2. In a hot pan or grill place the tuna belly skin side down and cook for 5 minutes.
3. Flip the tuna belly on the other side and cook for another 5 minutes. Make sure not to overcook the tuna belly.
4. Serve with chopped tomatoes and green onions. Garnish with lemon slices on the side (optional).
