Vicks Vapo Rub
• Vicks Vaporub is a cold vaporizing ointment. This counterirritant is made for symptomatic relief from blocked nose and cough due to colds.

• Formulation (%w/w): Camphor 5.26%; Menthol 2.82%; Eucalyptus Oil 1.33%; Nutmeg Oil 0.69%; Cedar Leaf Oil 0.44%; Turpentine Oil 4.68%; Thymol 0.09%; Petrolatum base q.s.100%.
• Indication: For temporary symptomatic relief from clogged nose and coughs due to colds and minor aches and pains.
• Suitable for: Adults and children over 2 years.
Directions for Use:
• For relief, massage Vicks Vaporub on the throat, chest, and back.
• For use in steam: Partly fill a bowl with standing water, add 2 spoonfuls of ointment. Inhale vapors for 10 to 15 minutes. Repeat if needed. Children should be closely supervised to avoid scalding.
• Caution: For external use only. Keep out of reach of children. For use on adults and children above 2 years. Not to be used by children under 2 years of age unless directed by a physician. Camphor can cause convulsion. Discontinue use if irritation develops. Avoid contact with eyes. If fever is present or symptoms persist, consult a physician. Do not a) take by mouth or place in nostrils b) apply to wounds or damaged skin or c) bandage tightly or use with heating pads. Use is contraindicated in infants below 2 years. Caution must be exercised when treating children. When using this product, do not apply heat, microwave, or add to boiling water.
